ABOUT CROSSFIT DELRAY BEACH
We rolled open our garage doors in October 2008 and introduced Delray Beach to the CrossFit phenomenon! We are an officially licensed CrossFit Affiliate, authorized to teach the CrossFit Method.
Our culture is infectious: We keep our program constantly varied so it never gets boring; we time and track all of our workouts so there is room for competition and goal-setting at every level; and we remain deeply committed to building our community by providing a fun environment for all of your friends and family to enjoy!
Our program is the best: We strive to provide the best strength and conditioning program available in our community. Our program is designed with great care and understanding of our client base, and is delivered by a team of highly skilled, professional coaches to ensure you receive the best possible training available in our market.
OUR COACHES
Our talented Coaches are hand selected and mentored on to our team. Regardless of any pre-existing Certifications they might hold, all coaches at CFDRB must first go through an initiation phase as a member. Not only does this process guarantee we you will be working with someone who is an experienced CrossFitter in their own right, but that they are also recognized and respected by their peers in our CF Community before being promoted into a leadership role. All of our coaches are, at a minimum, Level 1 CrossFit Certified. As a team, we also hold several other specialty certifications including: CrossFit Barbell Training, CrossFit Olympic Lifting, CrossFit Affiliate Kettlebell, CrossFit Nutrition, and CrossFit Endurance. WHY SHOULD I TRAIN WITH YOU?
Because it works. It's fun. And everyone you know is doing it.
It works because we hold you accountable. All you have to do is get your butt in the door 3-5 times per week and do what we tell you to do. You don't have to think. We do all of the programming for you. We know how you should be training and how you should be eating. It's that simple.
If you have made a decision that it is time for you to get in shape, then call us. CrossFit is a phenomenal program, but it's not magic. It is hard work. If you are committed MENTALLY, then you stand a very good chance of experiencing success with CrossFit.
WHAT IF I'M NOT AN ATHLETE? WHAT IF I'M OUT OF SHAPE?
That's ok. In fact, it usually works to your advantage because you don't have an inflated opinion of your own sense of "shape". If you think you are out of shape, you probably are. Most people are. It's ok. That's why we are here. To get you in shape. Come in with an open mind and a willingness to work hard, and we can work it out. We just start you where you are today - and get you where you need to go. We work with athletes of ALL FITNESS LEVELS which includes people who are really, really BEGINNER! Ask your coach which classes will be best suited to you as a newcomer to CrossFit.
I'M INTIMIDATED AND SCARED - IT SOUNDS SO INTENSE!
Relax. We understand that as a novice you can easily be overwhelmed by all of the new stimuli and intense activity CrossFit presents. This is why we reserve certain time slots for beginners to ensure you are working in smaller, less advanced groups. We also ensure you get extra coaching attention during your first few weeks so that you can grow confident and comfortable in your new environment before being exposed to some of the more advanced classes. You will learn quickly that no one else in your class is looking at you - they are all too busy trying to get through their own workouts anyway! You will also see how positive and encouraging our members are and we are confident that after a few classes you will start to relax and feel at home in your group!
I'M IN GREAT SHAPE ALREADY - WILL I BE CHALLENGED?
Lucky for you coming in with a competitive advantage! We welcome you to speak with any of our members who are also Professional UFC Fighters, Professional TriAthletes / IronMen, NFL and Arena Football players, Competitive marathoners, hockey players, soccer players, swimmers, lacrosse players, and tennis players who use our program as a base for increasing their performance in their various specialty sports. We feel pretty confident in answering for them with a resounding YES YOU WILL BE CHALLENGED! We work with athletes of ALL LEVELS which includes big studs like you who are really, really ADVANCED! Ask your coach which classes will be best suited to your abilities as an elite/advanced athlete.
HOW DO I GET STARTED?
We first need a little background information on you. Please CLICK HERE to complete our online form "GETTING STARTED". We will simply be assessing your basic fitness and nutrition background, your perceived goals coming into CrossFit, and any limitations or injuries you might currently be facing.

I'M A MEMBER - HOW DO I SIGN IN FOR CLASS?
Once you join our team, there are certain responsibilities you have as a participating member. You are required to SIGN IN ONLINE for every class. CLICK HERE for instructions on how to set up your online profile, sign in for class, and our late / cancellation policies.
WHAT ARE THE HOUSE RULES?
CLICK HERE TO VIEW OUR HOUSE RULES. Once you are a participating member, you must adhere to these rules. We're pretty strict about them too. It's all part of being held accountable as a respectful, contributing member of a team.
WHEN DO I TRAIN?
Our members typically train with us between 3 and 5 times per week. We encourage you to train at different times, on various days, until you are able to determine when your body best performs within our program. We strongly warn against overtraining. If you are used to hitting "the gym" 5 or 6 days a week - that is just not going to happen with CrossFit. Our program is designed for you to work your body to it's absolute maximum capability each and every time you come to class. We tend not to isolate body parts (ie. Back and Biceps on Monday, Legs on Tuesday, Chest on Wednesday, etc.) Our program is constantly varied, highly intense, and committed to involving functional movements - which to you means using pretty much every body part - every day!
AM I ALWAYS GOING TO BE THIS SORE?
Chances are, during your first few weeks as a CrossFitter, you are going to feel pretty darn sore. Remember, we are introducing your body to a new way of moving - you are going to wake up muscles you didn't know you had! Trust us, you are not alone. We've all had mornings where it hurt to walk up the stairs or sit down on the toilet (those darn air squats)! The best advice we can give you is to drink loads of water, get plenty of rest, and KEEP COMING BACK! We advocate self-lead stretching (post WOD) and preemptive icing whenever necessary. We promise after the initial weeks your soreness will subside and you will experience an overwhelming sensation of increased energy, enthusiasm, and strength! It's well worth the initial grind!
DO YOU HAVE PRIVATE COACHING?
Sort of. We don't particularly advocate "Private Training" as it kind of goes against the whole concept of the "increased performance in a small group setting" thing we've got going on here at CFDRB. However, there are some Private Coaching options available - please contact Sarah Bowling directly to discuss these options.

WE DO NOT COMPETE ON PRICE. WE COMPETE ON QUALITY, SKILLED PROFESSIONAL COACHING AND TRAINING.
There are many other lower priced fitness programs available. If you truly evaluate our program, you will understand that we actually offer the value of excellent private coaching - in a small group setting - for a fraction of the price you would pay for traditional private training. If price is the driving factor in your decision-making, please evaluate those options first.
